Wow! I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by. Luke Brandon…you are ONE! Your first birthday was truly special since we were able to celebrate in Texas with your family and friends. You had two parties…one in Wichita Falls and one in Aledo. You are an extremely blessed little boy (so blessed that mommy had to pay extra for our suitcases on the way back to Illinois!).
Here is your Wichita Falls party invitation. The invites were magnets so that everyone could put your cute little self on their fridge!
For your party in Wichita Falls, we had lunch at Carinos with your Granna & Poppy, Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Crystal, & Cousin Savannah, Great Grandma Johnson, Great Aunt Carol, Bud, & Elizabeth, Gigi, Coach, & Uncle Colby, Great Nana & Julie Mahler, Great Mimi, Great Aunt Joan, & Cousin Reece, and Scott & Julie Skipworth…It was a fun party!
Shame on your momma…she was too busy visiting with everyone and did not take many pictures. Here a few pictures of the cupcakes and party favors:

Next we hosted a birthday cookout at Gigi & Coaches house in Aledo. We celebrated there with: Gigi, Coach, & Uncle Colby, Great Mimi, Uncle Danny, Aunt Lisa, Cousins Blake & Betsy, Bert & Scott Smith, Cody, Stacy & Blake Bauer, Cody, Jenn, & Reed Roark, and Hollis & Donna Sullivan. We really had the best time.
Here are the decorations for your party:

The cutest birthday boy ever!
Cupcake Time. Luke was not so sure about the frosting…most of it ended up on Miss Donna!

Thanks to everyone who came to Luke’s first birthday parties! We truly had the best time. We missed Daddy (he was in the middle of training for work), but were glad to be able to celebrate this milestone with so many people we love!
Happy 1st Birthday baby boy…we could not love you any more if we tried. Looking forward to this next year and all of the exciting things it will bring!
